Beautec applies governance practices intended to protect personal information handled in its activities.
Scope
Beautec's policy covers personal information handled in connection with its services, platform administration, client management, billing and applicable legal obligations.
Collection and use
Beautec limits collection to information needed for stated purposes and applies reasonable security, access-control, retention and destruction measures.
Public website
This version of Beautec's public website includes no advertising or behavioral analytics tool. Contact is handled by email rather than a Web form. Technical logs may still be processed by hosting infrastructure for operation and security.
Retention and destruction
Personal information is kept only for the period needed for the stated purposes or applicable legal obligations, then securely destroyed or anonymized where appropriate.
Service providers and processing outside Quebec
Beautec may rely on technology providers as part of its activities. When processing or disclosure outside Quebec is contemplated and the law requires it, the applicable assessment and protection measures must be completed before the disclosure.
Security
Measures are adapted to the context and may include access controls, authentication, backups, logging and secure destruction. No technical measure can guarantee zero risk.
